Steigenberger Hotel, Bremen

Siedentopf KG, Bremen, intended to develop a high-rise office building and a hotel on its property in the Weser district.

For this purpose, Siedentopf KG concluded a property development agreement with ECE Consulting GmbH in Hamburg. ECE commissioned red KG as a competence partner in November 2006 with hotel development services and operator acquisition.

The following analysis, concept and simulation were developed by red KG by mid-2007. The schematic design for the hotel was created by Matteo Thun, Milano on the recommendation of red KG.

During the course of the processing, it emerged that a GOP variety show should be built in connection with the hotel.

Under the umbrella of the GOP Entertainment Group, the GOP variety shows exist in various cities in Germany with attached restaurants. The GOP variety shows are among the most successful in Germany. In the variety shows of the GOP Entertainment Group the motto is “Experience with all the senses”. Because stage shows and culinary delights belong together. In the two-hour shows, international artists fascinate with magnificent performances in an atmospheric atmosphere.

The interaction between the GOP and the hotel as well as the obligation to realize the office tower have drawn out the operator acquisition process somewhat.

Finally, the rental agreement for the hotel was concluded in September 2010 between H. Siedentopf (GmbH & Co. KG), Bremen and Steigenberger Hotels AG, Frankfurt.
The hotel has 137 rooms and suites, a restaurant, bar, bistro and the wellness area on the sixth floor with around 200 m² and a view over Bremen round off the offering.
