Motel One Vienna-Central Station
Complete project development process including investor search
The Motel One at the new Vienna Central Station is located in the impressive hotel tower. In a central location in the capital, directly at the new Vienna Central Station, ECE realized the Motel One, Vienna Central Station by mid-2015 according to plans by the renowned Viennese architectural firm Holzbauer & Partner. The impressive high-rise, approximately 60 m high, is located on the southern forecourt of the new Vienna Central Station and next to the new headquarters of the Austrian Federal Railways (ÖBB).
From February 2011, the ECE commissioned red KG in stages to:
1. Feasibility (analysis, concept, simulation),
2. Operator acquisition
3. Search for end investors for Switzerland
The rental agreement with Motel One was concluded in July 2012.
With 533 rooms, it is one of the largest hotels in the Motel One Group. From the upper floors you can enjoy the view over the city and the sights such as St. Stephen's Cathedral, the State Opera or the Ferris wheel in the Prater. The modern lounge bar and the light-flooded breakfast room have a spacious terrace on two levels.
