The Success Hotel Group, a German family business, will operate the first Radisson RED Hotel in Switzerland in the Lokstadt in Winterthur as a franchisee.
Spanning 6,600 m², the new hotel will feature approximately 180 rooms and a restaurant with its own brand. Radisson RED is a new, upscale urban hotel concept with an unconventional design and exceptional atmosphere for the modern traveler. Currently, only twelve Radisson RED hotels are operating worldwide, in locations such as Dubai, London, Brussels, and Cape Town – and soon, the Lokstadt in Winterthur will join this list of prestigious destinations. Michael Friedrich, CEO of the Success Hotel Group, said: “Following Austria, we are now expanding into Switzerland – we are delighted to have Ina Invest and the Radisson Hotel Group as strong partners for our continued international expansion. As hotel operators, we can hardly imagine a better location than the Lokstadt halls, whose industrial style perfectly reflects the Radisson RED flair.”
